Solar Evacuate tubes - Solar vacuum tubes

Solar Vacuum Tubes / Solar Evacuated Tubes

Solar vacuum - evacuated tubeSolar vacuum / evacuated tubes are highly efficient and easy to install as it can be assembled on the roof.

Allbrite's solar evacuated tubes are the highly efficient 58mm diametre tubes using heat pipe technology, this means that no fluid runs through the tubes and instead heat is collected by a super conductor rod and transported into the manifold heat exchanger.

Basically less liquid is used meaning it is heated up quicker by the solar panel and transported to the heat exchange coil in the solar cylinder.

The benefits of the solar evacuated tubes :-

Solar Keymark
  • Highly efficient 58mm diametre evacuated tubes (58mm Ø x 1.8m)
  • Each tube has an output capability of 104 watts
  • Comes in easy to manage packaging
  • Easy to construct with only 4 bolts (supplied)
  • Only has 2 plumbing connections (22mm)
  • All tubes will push fit into the manifold, no special tools required.
  • Easy clip retainer boots to hold tubes in place
  • Powder coated aluminium manifold casing (Grey)
  • 10 Year manufacturer warranty
  • All collectors have solar keymark certification

It is important to size solar evacuated tube panels correctly to match your dwelling and solar cylinder size, as a rule of thumb each tube will heat 8 - 10 Litres of water if the panel is South facing on a pitched roof, with this in mind we would recommend 22 tubes for a 210 Litre solar cylinder.
